🆚 a real example of likes vs income

I have recently started to see a lot of content from a LinkedIn influencer, Dina Calakovic. Most of it is good, and I thought this post well worth sharing.

The post was simple, it was pretty much just the below screenshot with a caption telling people that the image is from her spreadsheet tracking likes vs income.

At time of writing, she has 95,390 followers. Below you can see what that translated to in terms of engagement and revenue.

I think there are 2 important lessons to take away from this:

  1. Track the metrics that matter. Engagement didn’t correlate to revenue. Regularly review what you’re tracking and what you’re optimising for.

  2. Ignore the hype. Most people look at influencers and think they make loads of money because they have big audiences or lots of likes. Most influencers are broke. Focus on what you do, not what other people are doing.

"Winners focus on winning. Losers focus on winners.” - Alex Hormozi

It doesn’t matter what other entrepreneurs do. It doesn’t matter what that influencer is saying. It doesn’t matter what other people think.

What matters is what you can do. What matters is what you’re going to do right now.

What can you do right now that will help you to become a winner?
