FAQs
How do meetings work?
You have two months to read each book and a month to implement. All meetings are led by an experienced coach. Month 1 = You and your group vote on which book to read from a shortlist (and start reading it). Month 2 = You and your group discuss the book together, pick out actionable insights, and set actions you will each implement this month (with progress checks each week). It doesn't matter if you didn't manage to read the whole book, there are still actions to implement. Month 3 = You and your group discuss implementation insights and decide on the next book from a shortlist. Etc.
When are meetings?
Your availability will be taken into account when matching you with groups. We match based on you, your business, and your availability. You will see available group dates/times in our initial call together.
Is this right for me and my business?
If you do not currently run a business then this is *NOT* right for you. This IS right for you if you already run a professional services business (coach, agency, therapist, etc) and want to be around doers in your industry. You will be matched to a group of people who run businesses similar to yours and who are at a similar stage to you. Your sessions are guided by an experienced coach and full of other doers like you who will all help you pull out insights from each book and apply them to your unique business and specific situation.
What is included?
1. You get monthly sessions with your group of doers led by an experienced business coach that will help you pull out the insights and create concrete step-by-step action plans customised to your business. 2. You get access to a custom group chat with your group members in it, as well as access to the wider community chat. Celebrate your wins, share insights, and grow together with the supportive community of doers you've always dreamed of. 3. You get weekly accountability in the chat, as well as access to weekly "body-doubling" work sessions with members from the Built From Books community. 4. You get more done in your business and finally feel supported.
How much is membership?
Membership is £199 per month. This allows us to keep the group quality high (meet & work with real business owners doing real business) as well as have "skin in the game" to keep everybody engaged and accountable. The typical member sees at least a 5x return in the first month. If you're interested in joining us then book your initial alignment call to check we are a good fit for each other. After you're accepted you will be onboarded and welcomed into the community.
